During winter vacation, i went to France with my sister and parents, we stayed at there for 3 weeks, during these three weeks, I have go through the whole country by taking train and renting the car.
France is a country that is located in western Europe. It is bordered by Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany to the northeast, Switzerland and Italy to the east, and Andorra and Spain to the south. The overseas territories include French Guiana in South America and several islands in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. French population is about 67.3 million
First, I want to introduce Avignon,is a commune in south-eastern France in the department of Vaucluse on the left bank of the Rhône river. Of the 90,194 inhabitants of the city , about 12,000 live in the ancient town center enclosed by its medieval ramparts. We often stay at there for 3 or 4 days, we will set a point in Avignon then either go to Marseilles or to the beach
Marseille is a second capital of France, it located beside the Mediterranean sea, you can have a lot of seafood as much as you want. There have one thing in Marseille that i was uncomfortable, is the the road is too small for a normal car, i'll recommend travelers take either TGV or Ouigo instead of driving
TGV and Ouigo is the high speed train in the France, it broke the world record during 2007, The TGV reach 574 KM per hour, the normal speed is between 300-320 KM per hour, it took 2 hours from Paris to Lion, 3 hours to Marseille. It's a really convenience for both citizen and traveler
last place I will recommend to others is Strasbourg, Strasbourg is on the north west side of France, it located on the countryside, you can go to Germany by walk across the bridge. In Strasbourg, you can taste either French food or German food. In there, you can see a traditional market, it sell different kinds of food, you will have a really good experience in there
