Koenigsegg Regera

Regera means prepotency in Swedish, which mean that this car will be the top of Hyper car in all the time!

Koenigsegg Regera was released in 2017 in Geneva motor show, it is the first Hypercar that has Hybrid. Hybrid in the car is mean that car that uses gasoline and electric to help the car to move, it makes the car more Environmental protection and it can have the better capability. when a car starts to move, it takes a large power from engine, in hybrid, they will use motor when the car starts to accelerate, when the car is going over the amount of the speed, the motor will change engine and gave the speed, meanwhile engine will gave little bit of power to charge to the battery

Koenigsegg want to make the car Hybrid because they had two tests between using whole electricity or using gasoline, both of them using 4 seconds from 0 to 100 kilometers, but when they using the hybrid, it only takes 2.8 seconds from 0 to 100kilometers

The shell of Regera is using the carbon fiber. Carbon fiber can hold high pressure, temperature, hardness, this materialit also really light, people use this material on an airplane, car racing, army, even the sporting goods is also popular.

This Koenigsegg Regera, the whole shell is made of carbon fiber, as we can see, the color and the appearance of carbon fiber is also really good, some costumer will buy the car without coloring.

The door of Regera is also unique and has large of the feature, normally when we see the Lamborghini, the door is scissors door, it means when you open the door, the door will raise up almost 45 degree

But Regera and all the car made by Koenigsegg is a different kind of scissor door, you need three actions to open the door, first, push the door, then spin the door 90 degrees, after you spin the door, you need to push the whole door forward, then the door will stop at there!

For the cockpit, Regera is really different from the hypercar in modern life, Regera didn't have gears, but it still using the paddle. The reason that Regera has paddle because is driver using the paddle to make the car forward and backward, if you press two paddles together, it will be in the park. Meanwhile, it will be parking brake automatically. If you hold over 5 seconds, it will be neutral, stand on the break and press the paddle will be the drive.

Although I can not buy the car after I am 20 years old, I would like to try the car and have some experience for the Regera and all the cars in Koenigsegg!
